Aimee Lin shows that acute criticism and imaginative curating can combine to the benefit of both disciplines. In 2009, she was a co-founder, with Philip Tinari, of the bilingual (Chinese and English) contemporary art magazine LEAP and has been the editor of ArtReview Asia (a sister publication to Art Review) since it launched in 2013. She is currently working on ArtReview Asia Xiàn Chăng, a curatorial section at Shanghai’s West Bund Art & Design (the first contemporary Chinese fair to present both art and design), which will be launched this November.
