The Fondation Giacometti in Paris celebrates a double anniversary this summer – the centenary of the birth of its founder, Annette Giacometti (1923–93) and 20 years since its own establishment. As wife and muse to Alberto Giacometti, Annette was a vital influence on her husband’s art and dedicated the last years of her life to the archiving and conservation his work. This exhibition (until 27 September) presents a rare insight into their relationship through a series of haunting portraits of Annette: sculpted, painted and drawn. Find out more on the Fondation Giacometti’s website.
