Over the past six years, the initiators of the HIGHLIGHTS International Art Fair in Munich have succeeded in establishing it as one of Germany’s leading fairs, an event of genuine quality whose appeal extends far beyond the borders of Bavaria or Germany. By November 2013, the FAZ newspaper was already asserting that HIGHLIGHTS had ‘leapt ahead off the competition’, while, last year, Süddeutsche Zeitung wrote: ‘The pieces on show left no doubt as to the calibre of this event.’
