The curator of the 7th Moscow Biennale, Yuko Hasegawa (artistic director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo), presents this year’s main project: ‘Clouds⇄Forests’. The project features well-known artists such as Matthew Barney, Olafur Eliasson and Björk, alongside the work of a number of Russian artists; including Alexey Martins, Anastasia Potemkina, Valya Fetisov, Ilya Fedotov-Fedorov and the creative association ‘Where Dogs Run’. The expert council of the 7th Moscow Biennale have selected 69 projects for the parallel programme held across 49 institutions including the Moscow Museum of Modern Art , the Darwin Museum, and the Moscow State University Botanical Garden ‘Aptekarsky Ogorod’. This year’s biennale will also be accompanied by a series of special events and lectures. Find out more about the Moscow International Biennale from their website.
