Born in Sansepolcro in Tuscany in around 1416/17, Piero worked in various Italian towns, primarily producing religious scenes as well as a number of portraits and treatises on mathematics and art. There are no works by the Renaissance master in Russian collections; this exhibition brings together loans from museums in Madrid, Paris, Lisbon, London and across Italy.
