Apollo

Ruby City

San Antonio, Texas

NOW CLOSED

Opening 13 October

Designed by David Adjaye, this angular edifice of crimson concrete is based on a vision from a dream experienced by the late philanthropist and collector Linda Pace. It houses the Pace Foundation’s collection of some 900 modern and contemporary works, by artists including Marina Abramović, Gillian Wearing, Christian Marclay and Per Kirkeby. The inaugural exhibition, ‘Waking Dream’, will bring together works by international figures including Do Ho Suh and Wangechi Mutu with pieces by artists local to San Antonio. Find out more from Ruby City’s website.
