Wilhelm Leibl – The Art of Seeing

Albertina, Vienna

31 Jan - 10 May 2020

The German painter’s clear-eyed realism brought him to the attention of Gustave Courbet in the 1870s, and would later be an important influence on Vincent Van Gogh. A collaboration with the Kunsthaus Zürich, this show brings together more than 100 paintings and drawings. Find out more from the Albertina’s website.
