Making it new – this week’s Apollo Art Diary features four fresh shows from interesting international galleries to look out for in March.

The sound artist Camille Norment has spent her career exploring three tones – the bell, feedback and the sine wave – as metaphors for social discord. This site-specific commission runs between Dia’s two galleries in Chelsea, New York (3 March–29 January 2023), and encourages viewers to engage with the area’s historic maritime economy. Find out more from Dia’s website.
