‘Spasibo by Davide Monteleone’ features work by the Italian-born photographer (the 4th winner of the Carmignac Gestion Photojournalism Award) carried out in Chechnya between December 2012 and April 2013. Monteleone’s works investigate the threat to socio-political identities posed by the autocratic regime of the Head of the Chechen Republic and former rebel, Ramzan Kadyrov.
