The wacky worlds conjured by Mika Rottenberg are as comically absurd as they are trenchant in their sending up of global capitalism. Anonymous characters, with Pinocchio-proportioned noses or sneezes that summon rabbits, inhabit films that are frequently set in office spaces or factories. This display of her work at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk (until 9 January 2022) includes videos and installations from the last 15 years, as well as a series of interactive kinetic sculptures – a recent departure for the artist.
