The winners of this year’s Asian Art in London awards have been announced. The winner of the Apollo Award for Outstanding Work of Indian or Islamic Work from a Dealer is Peter Finer for an exceptional Indian sword, or shamshir, and the Antiques Trade Gazette Award for Outstanding Indian or Islamic Work from an Auction House goes to Sotheby’s for a pair of Mughal spectacles set with emerald lenses, in diamond-mounted frames.

In the East Asian section of the event, the Apollo Award for Outstanding Work of East Asian Work from a dealer goes to Eskenazi for the lacquer head of a bodhisattva, and the Antiques Trade Gazette Award for Outstanding Work of East Asian goes to Bonhams for an imperial Beijing enamel teapot and cover.
