Michael Ku

Founder, Michael Ku Gallery, Taipei, Taiwan

With his background in art history, Michael Ku has created a gallery whose artists are widely respected in both academic and art market circles. The gallery, which Ku founded in 2008, shows established and emerging Asian artists, and has introduced many Chinese, Japanese, and Southeast Asian artists to the Taiwanese market – as well as working with major local figures, such as the aesthetician Chiang Hsun. Ku is also the art director of the Tianmei Art Foundation, which assists younger Taiwanese artists with international travel.
