The Forever Loop

For his new Curve commission, London based artist Eddie Peake presents an elaborate environment animated by a continuous live performance featuring dance and a monologue written by Peake, as well as a sheer suited roller-skater gliding through the space.
This installation includes a maze structure, a chequer-board dance floor, a vibrant wall painting and a new series of brightly coloured animal sculptures. Peake’s work invites the viewer to reflect upon the relationships between desire, sexuality and visual pleasure, while drawing on art historical references, classical sculpture and popular culture.
