Lee Bul’s work takes many forms, from elaborate performances to evocative sculptures that adopt and transform traditional styles. This exhibition – the Korean artist’s first solo show in the UK – presents a large variety of pieces which engage directly with politics, idealism and what is meant by ‘civilisation’.
