Maggi Hambling: Walls of Water

Eight vast, turbulent new paintings, plus one smaller piece made in response to the death of Amy Winehouse in 2011, make up this exhibition of the artist’s recent works. They have never been seen in public before, and are shown here in conjunction with an exhibition of expressive 19th-century paintings by the Norwegian artist Peder Balke.
