War Revolution and Design (WWI)
The early 20th century was a period of remarkable creativity and innovation in Russian theatre. This exhibition includes work by Kazimir Malevich, Alexander Rodchenko, Vladimir Tatlin, Alexandra Exter, El Lissitsky, Liubov Popova and Varvara Stepanova, and explores how the avant-garde developed against a backdrop of local and global upheaval.
