This is the first career retrospective of Ungerer’s drawings to be held in the USA. Best known as the author and illustrator of 1960s children’s classics including The Three Robbers (1961) and Moon Man (1966), Ungerer has also produced numerous advertising designs and is a talented draughtsman.
