Ed Atkins

Video artist Ed Atkins is one of the most precocious of young British artists. Having graduated from the Slade School of Art in 2009, he has already shown in major international galleries, including the Chisenhale Gallery, London, MoMA PS1, New York and the Kunsthalle Zürich. The artist’s recent presentation at London’s Serpentine Sackler Gallery confirms his heady ascent, proving that his complex and sometimes shocking virtual world has well and truly made its mark. Atkins is already making waves as a teacher, too, lecturing in fine art at Goldsmiths, London.
