Alec Cobbe is renowned for his understanding of historic interiors, and the ways in which art collections have and can be displayed within them. This display features drawings, photographs and other material donated by Cobbe to the V&A, and provides a welcome insight into his work and enthusiasms, which include design, painting, restoration and collecting.
