The Detroit Institute of Arts is re-opening the expanded and revamped Ancient Middle East gallery on October 2. The gallery is fully restored, and will display 177 key pieces from the DIA’s collection of more than 500 works spanning 8,500 years, the most since the DIA’s grand re-opening in 2007. Read more.
