Clare Woods and Des Hughes

The Sleepers

New paintings by Clare Woods (b.1972) with sculptures by Des Hughes (b.1970) created in response to key Modern British artworks in the Gallery’s collection by Paul Nash, Henry Moore and Eduardo Paolozzi, as well as the celebrated Arundel Tomb in Chichester Cathedral. The exhibition includes a monumental painting by Woods, a major new contemporary art commission for the stairwell of the 18th century townhouse.
