Why? Children on move

Born in Bangladesh, photojournalist GMB Akash has been honoured with more than 100 international prizes for his determination to show the beauty of the human spirit, to give a voice to the voiceless and have it heard around the world. Who could be better than him to bear witness to the drama of refugees? His work was the inspiration for this exhibition which is the result of a collaboration between the Foundation Archives + Production of Contemporary Art (APCd), which has presented the work of GMB Akash in Switzerland since 2013 and ‘Merimna’, the Greek non profit organisation, dedicated to supporting children who experience life losses.
