Van Gogh and his illness

Van Gogh’s mental instability is fuel for the imagination. For the first time, an exhibition is being dedicated to this subject in the Van Gogh Museum. The exhibition sheds new light on Van Gogh’s illness and how it affected his work, based on paintings, drawings, letters and rarely shown documents. The many diagnoses of his illness are also addressed.
