Brazilian-born, New York-based artist Valeska Soares presents Time Has No Shadows as the latest focus of the Using Walls, Floors, and Ceilings exhibition series. Soares’s installation of an immense carpet, poetic texts, and antique pocket watches fills the lobby of the Jewish Museum. Time Has No Shadows draws on the artist’s enduring fascination with the subjectivity of time and language, while it also explores the history of Jewish migration and resettlement.
