Johann König

7 September 2017

36 | Founder, König Gallery, Berlin, Germany

Johann König opened his gallery in Berlin in 2002 when he was just 21 – a precocious achievement in itself, but all the more audacious given that he is partially blind. In 2015, König opened a second space in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin at St Agnes church, a brutalist building that has been impressively remodelled by architect Arno Brandlhuber.
