Baroque in Florence

Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts

NOW CLOSED

Florence was at the centre of the Italian Renaissance, but it also played a significant role in the ensuing baroque period. This exhibition presents a selection of drawings – some for the first time – by Florentine masters of the late 16th and early 17th centuries, as well as exploring their political and artistic context.
