Two acclaimed members of the Croatian National Opera, Dubravka Šeparović Musović and Ivana Lazar, and the Australian pianist, Piers Lane, have kindly agreed to give the above concert in aid of The International Trust for Croatian Monuments and in memory of Sir Henry Beresford-Peirse, a trustee and a founding member of the charity.

The International Trust for Croatian Monuments, Charity Registration No 1040187, was founded in 1991, with Serban Cantacuzino and John Julius Norwich among its trustees. Our aims have always been to help preserve and restore historic sites and artistic treasures of Croatia damaged by war, neglect and lack of funding. With the help of many people in Great Britain, from all walks of life, the Trust has supported different projects in Croatia, concentrating especially on the training of young conservators and restorers.

Our sincere thanks are due to The Headley Trust, The Swan Trust, The Attingham Trust, ICOMOS (UK), The Leche Trust, The Sandy and Zorica Glen Charitable Settlement and other foundations and individuals who have enabled us to carry out works for over 20 years now. And help is still needed.

For more information about the work of the Trust, visit www.croatianmonuments.org

In Holy Trinity Church, described by Sir John Betjeman as “The Cathedral of the Arts and Crafts Movement”, you will find the visual arts and music in perfect harmony. Your attendance will enable the charity to continue its important work.
