Sol LeWitt’s 1982 Wall Drawing #370: Ten Geometric Figures (including right triangle, cross, X, diamond) with three-inch parallel bands of lines in two directions has been installed at the Metropolitan Museum for the summer months, after which is will be painted over. LeWitt’s wall drawings were conceived as flexible, often temporary pieces that could respond directly to the sites of their installation.
