Kishio Suga (1944, Morioka, Japan) was one of the key figures in the Mono-ha movement, which developed in Japan in the late Sixties and investigated the relationship between art and the human being, and particularly the relationship with space, material and reality. In his installations Suga uses both natural elements such as stone and wood, as well as industrial ones like plastic and steel, with which he explores and analyses the interaction between material and space.
