Toronto’s inaugural biennial aims to be as ‘culturally connected and diverse as the city itself’, with works by artists from across the globe brought into dialogue with those of Canadian and Indigenous artists. Taking place at 10 sites across Toronto’s waterfront, the exhibition has more than 90 participants, with 20 new commissions by artists including Dana Claxton, Fernando Palma Rodríguez and Abbas Akhavan.
