This comprehensive survey of the late Austrian artist includes around 200 works, and charts his career from the papier-mâché forms of the early 1970s – which viewers were encouraged to handle – to his recent, bright outdoor works. The show includes a selection of his furniture pieces, his Lemur Heads, and later collages and drawings, revealing an artist who constantly sought to erode the barriers between artwork and viewer.
