Part of New York’s downtown art scene in the 1960s, Harvey Quaytman (1937–2002) became known for large sculptural canvases. This exhibition, which features more than 70 works from the 1960s to the late ’90s, will look at the way he fused different forms of abstraction, from gestural expressionism to minimalism. Find out more about the Harvey Quaytman from BAMPFA’s website.
